First I find myself in a liminal bombardment state that feels like calculated tinkering from my higher swirling energy form. It's a less colorful swirl this time though and when I pull out of a sleep state I'm told that:
"They had to reconfigure my rhythm."
Or something to that effect. This honestly feels like an accurate assessment of what I've been trying to do with my life. I developed some bad habits to deal with my unchecked Hashimoto's disease that I'm still trying to get under control now that I'm medicated properly. Writing about dreams daily is a part of catching that rhythm. My behavior has to change more on a structural level though.
Later a series of dream vignettes. First I'm eating out with my wife and since the restaurant is crowded, we agree to sit at the same large table as these other patrons. We're on one end and they're on the other so it's no big deal. But after a while, a ton of their friends show up and they are all larger bodied women. My wife and I are now cramped into the corners of the table being pushed into the wall sort of irritated. What's funny is that we're not irritated by these people, but rather by the fact that we're paying a decent amount of money for this experience.
The next thing I know I'm walking on the waterfront path in Port Townsend (where I've only been once as an adult). It's that specific though and honestly dreams are typically fairly surreal but here it legit feels exactly like walking on that exact path. This goes on for a bit when all of a sudden I'm possessed with a very specific impulse to turn myself into an NBA 2K player. I do and now I'm looking at myself as a video game character from a third person perspective, just like I would in the game. I'm guarding an inbound play right after a score. Fairly quickly after the ball is thrown into play, I rush the ballhandler, hit my A button and swipe the ball expertly.
Now I'm back out of the video game world. My teammates are cutting to the hoop and I hit one of them for the layup. As we're walking back in the other direction, now back on the trail in Port Angeles, I'm sort of shrugging at them.
"I almost never try A button steals in that situation because I always get called for the foul. It almost never works."
This is true in real life as a matter of fact. But here I felt "possessed" and that was the point. Same theme as two consecutive nights last week: (here) and (here). Whether it be music, or sports, or video game sports, or bizarro competitive food fight competitions (that really was a weird dream), the principles remain the same. You have to tap into that dark vein of rich worldly energy, the holy spirit. That's the magick you're looking for.
